The 2027 IACMAG-CSRME Joint International Symposium will be held at the University of Newcastle City Campus (NUspace), located at the corner of Hunter Street and Auckland Street in the Newcastle CBD. The venue is conveniently connected to surrounding accommodation, dining, and transport options.
Tips for Attendees
- Venue: University of Newcastle – NUspace (Hunter St × Auckland St, Newcastle CBD). Hotels in the CBD, Honeysuckle, and East End areas are within walking distance or a short light rail ride.
- Transport: Newcastle Light Rail connects Civic Station (NUspace) with Honeysuckle and Newcastle East. Walking is convenient within the CBD.
- Budget Guidance: Crystalbrook, QT, Little National, Rydges and Novotel are mid-to-high-end options. Holiday Inn Express and ibis are budget-friendly. Quest and Honeysuckle Executive Apartments are suitable for longer stays.
- Booking Advice: December is a busy season in Newcastle due to local events and holiday travel. Participants are encouraged to book early and choose flexible rates where possible.
